Do you work for the municipality, are you a study career counselor, (youth) advisor, general practitioner or youth doctor? Then you can refer young people with questions about the labor market, education or (health) care to the Youth Point.

The Youth Point is a network of professional organizations that provides support for young people. Many young people wandering around with questions of help struggle to find their way in the complex landscape of care and assistance agencies.
Even professionals sometimes do not know where to turn with their young people. The Youth Center distinguishes itself by offering young people, in an accessible way, the possibility of integral, tailored help and support in virtually all areas of life. This is possible because behind the Youth Center there is a network of professional organizations:
- Municipality of Alphen aan den Rijn: case management for complex issues, income support, coaching and guidance, debt counseling, and reintegration into education or employment
- JIP: helps young people with employment, education, financial matters, housing, and other concerns
- Transition Center: assistance in selecting an appropriate vocational training program, outreach efforts targeting young people up to age 23 who lack a basic qualification
- MBO Rijnland: training, tailored education
- Participate: (specialized) youth work, sports and activities, online youth work
- Tom in the Neighborhood: well-being, volunteer work, daytime activities, individual coaching, WMO
- Alphen Vitaal: fitness coordinators, community sports coaches, and cultural coaches; sports and culture
- Focus on Home: Family Support, Implementation of the Youth Act
Our working method
Our working method is characterized by active involvement and a zoomed-in view of someone's need for help. This means that we conduct a comprehensive intake that touches all areas of life. We then engage the appropriate help from the partner who is most suitable.
