Take good care of your body and mind
Your head is just as important as your body. Thoughts, feelings, stress - it's all part of life. And just as you go to the gym or count your steps, you can also train for a strong mind. Sound tough? Doesn't have to be. Small, everyday things will get you far.
Wondering what you can do today?
Get in a better mood with these tips!
- Let it out. That feeling right after you finish your presentation? That relief, that deep breath, that yes, it's out there moment? That's exactly how it can feel when you talk about something that's been on your mind for a while. Sometimes you just need to clear your head. Just get it all out—to someone you trust, or even to someone you don't know who will listen without judgment. A fresh perspective, no drama. Trust us: it's so relieving.
- Get moving. Do you spend too much time at home? Then go for a walk. Download a pedometer app and you'll have your motivation buddy right there with you. Going to the gym is also an option, but you can just as easily exercise outdoors. That way, you don't have to look at everyone else who thinks they look fantastic in the mirror.
- Turn off your phone. Challenge yourself: turn off your phone for a while. Put it away, that's step 1. Maybe now is the time to finally do that thing you always put off. You probably know exactly what we mean, haha! Something creative. Something different. Something of your own. Make yourselfoffline," as the Bankzitters once sang. Compare yourself less with others on social media. Check in with yourself more: what makes me happy?
- Nap time. Take a spontaneous power nap. Just recharge your batteries, clear your mind. Half an hour of sleep feels like eight hours—you know that feeling of truly resetting.
- Most importantly! Be kind to yourself. Not every day has to be good 🫶🏽
