Hey, it's okay!

Do you ever feel alone? Or are you sometimes stressed? Then you're not the only one. Talking relieves when you don't feel okay. Sometimes it's hard to start a conversation. It can help if you do something with someone. For example, go for a walk together, kick a ball around or play a game of video games. On this page you'll find help and helpful tips to help you start the conversation. See what works for you and discover how talking relieves! 😌
1. Chat with each other while gaming 🎮

Catching up with a friend is fine while gaming. If you notice that something is bothering your teammate, you could ask how he or she is doing. Do you find it difficult or uncomfortable to start such a serious conversation? Then see if you can use the phrases below:

  • How are you feeling today?
  • What are you running into?
  • What can I do for you?
2. Take a walk with a friend 🥾

If you are not so fond of gaming or sitting still, you can also choose to go for a walk together. Often a conversation will develop naturally. Suppose it is quiet for a while, that is not a problem. Just look around at your surroundings. This is perhaps the chilliest way to get closer to each other without saying anything. Often a topic will come up when you look around at the surroundings together.

3. Choose someone you feel comfortable with 😊

You can talk to some people better than others. For example, you don't have to discuss everything with your parents if it feels better with your friends or girlfriends. If you feel confident with someone and you feel that the other person really hears you and wants to help you, then you have a very beautiful friendship and you can be there for each other at any time.
